Well, I'm compiling a list of extracurriculars throughout my high school career:

Freshman year
  • Class president
  • Student representative for school improvement grant committee

Sophomore year
  • University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications' Summer High School Journalism Workshop participant
  • Participant in winter and spring workshops at The Oregonian; published two features in newspaper
  • Recognized by Asian Reporter/Safeco for Excellence in Education
  • Asian club member
  • News editor for school newspaper, The Verdict
  • Freelance PowerPoint multimedia production
  • Letter in varsity tennis

And then here is some stuff that I hope to accomplish:

Junior year
  • Member of interview panel for applicants for new teaching positions
  • Winner of TRIO Thinkquest Web-design competition in local, regional, and national levels
  • Webmaster, John Marshall High School website; co-founded web-design class, setup Linux server, and developed site layout and design
  • Accumulated 16 credit hours at Portland State University and successfully completed entire Calculus curriculum
  • Student body co-secretary
  • Managerial editor, news editor for school newspaper, The Verdict
  • Participant in winter and spring workshops at The Oregonian; published two features in newspaper
  • Varsity tennis
  • National merit finalist

Heh, National Merit Finalist. It's a long but do-able shot.

I haven't gotten much charted out for senior year, except maybe ASB President or VP and maybe the Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering.

Okay, homework time (really!).
